2020 New York Jets Practice Squad Tracker

The Jets should be announcing their practice squad today so we'll be keeping track of rumors and reports here until they do so.

To reiterate the rules for this season, you can have up to 16 player on your practice squad, of whom up to six do not need to meet any specific eligibility requirements. The other 10 will typically be players who've only been in the league a year or two.

Each week, the team will be able to protect four players from being poached by another team but only from Tuesday to Sunday, so anyone on this squad is still potentially at risk of being poached.

Before each game, the team will have the option to temporarily activate up to two players who can play in the game without needing to be released and pass through waivers when they are added back afterwards. This is optional and you make the decision on a game by game basis.

It wouldn't be a surprise to see one or more of the players named to the squad today being replaced once any players released today clear waivers.

Players rumored or reported to be on the practice squad so far:

David Fales
Lamar Jackson
Mike White
Zane Lewis
James Murray
Josh Adams
Josh Malone
Lawrence Cager
