Breaking: Jets draft Blessuan Austin with the 196th pick

The Jets final (barring any late moves) saw them pick up a local product in Rutgers cornerback Blessuan Austin.

Austin's story is that he was an up and coming prospect before tearing his knee in 2017. He returned in 2018 but then re-injured his knee in the first game of the season.

He's obviously talented and has some good height and length but he's very thin and it's unclear whether he will have lost a step from these injuries.

This should be the final pick of the draft for the Jets, but we will let you know if they make a move to acquire another pick.
