Breaking: Jets sign DT Onyemata

Another defensive addition:

The #Jets have agreed to terms with veteran DT David Onyemata on a one-year, $10.5 million deal with $9.65M guaranteed.

Onyemata is 33 and is another player who was on the Saints when Aaron Glenn was on the coaching staff.

He is a solid run defender and has 31 career sacks, although he only had one of those last year. Onyemata has started at least 11 games in each of the past seven seasons.
