Breaking: Jets to bring back Demario Davis
A fourth defensive addition at over $10 million per year in the space of a few hours?
Reunion: Veteran LB Demario Davis is signing with the Jets on a two-year, $22 million deal that includes $15M fully guaranteed, sources say.

This will Year 15 for Davis, who just turned 37. Tommy Condon of @CAA_Football negotiated the deal. pic.twitter.com/1n2Hy1zrY1
Davis, who is returning for his third stint with the Jets, is obviously pretty old but has been durable and actually posted a career-high in tackles in 2025 so hopefully he has something left in the tank. Clearly his leadership and smarts will be valuable to Aaron Glenn who was on the Saints' coaching staff a few years back.
