Breaking: Jets to sign TE Conklin
We suspected the Jets might double-dip at tight end and now they have:
#Jets are signing TE Tyler Conklin, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Another tight end for Joe Douglas & Co. after adding CJ Uzomah.

Conklin wasn't very productive during his first three seasons but broke out last year with 61 catches for 593 yards and three touchdowns. While he was more of an underneath/safety valve option, he displayed good durability by playing over 900 offensive snaps for the Vikings.
Having agreed terms, the Jets will be paying him around $7 million per year over the next three seasons.
