Breaking: Jets trade for S Fitzpatrick

The tampering period isn't even open yet and the Jets made a move:

Trade: The Miami Dolphins are sending Minkah Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets in exchange for the 2026 seventh-round pick from the Chargers, per ESPN sources.

This had been in the works for a few days with the Jets confident they'd be able to get him for next-to-nothing.

Fitzpatrick brings the Jets some excellent versatility and veteran leadership.
