Buzz: Jets rescind offer to Ndamukong Suh

So much for that:

Johnson, speaking at the owners' meetings basically said he leaves everything to Mike Maccagnan in terms of free agency, but apparently they talked this over before pulling the offer:

Johnson said that he wasn’t involved in the initial offer to Suh. But after he talked about it with GM Mike Maccagnan, the Jets decided to pull the offer. Interesting.

They probably felt he wasn't likely to accept their offer even though it was reportedly bigger than everyone else's.

Suh would have been a huge addition, but now the team will have to look elsewhere, unless they're content with the likes of Mike Pennel, Deon Simon and Xavier Cooper battling for starting roles on the defensive line.
