Coaching News: Jets continue to fill out staff
The Jets have continued to fill up their coaching vacancies:
A new generation of Ryans in New York: the Jets are hiring the Lions assistant tight ends coach Seth Ryan as their passing game coordinator, per sources.

Seth Ryan follows his father Rex, who followed his father Buddy as the third generation of Ryans to coach for the Jets.
The Jets also reportedly filled another spot last night after Jeff Blasko's departure:
The #Jets are hiring former Steelers TE’s coach Alfredo Roberts for the same position, according to a source with knowledge of the move.

With offensive line coach Steve Heiden, wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson and defensive backs coach Chris Harris reportedly returning, the only roles yet to be filled above assistant level are the linebackers coach and the quarterbacks coach. We know that the assistant Nathan Willingham has interviewed for the linebackers role and it's possible the Jets could operate without a quarterback coach.
There may be other roles to fill though. Presumably the Jets will bring in a running game coordinator on offense as well and could also theoretically add a passing game and running game coordinator on defense too.
One name to watch is Jeff Stoutland, the top offensive line coach who is stepping down from the role in Philadelphia. Could he be reunited with former Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich on the Jets' staff? It feels like a pipe dream but the Jets should definitely explore finding a role for Stoutland if there's any chance.
