DraftFix: Notable details from 2024's Pro Day Schedule so far

We're over halfway through the 2024 pro day schedule, where combine snubs or anyone who didn't or couldn't do a full combine workout finally get a chance to work out for teams.

Here's some of the more interesting notes from some of the pro days that have taken place so far:

Georgia

WR Ladd McConkey did his draft hopes no harm by running elite agility times (3.97/6.72).

Alabama

CB Kool-Aid McKinstry, who didn't work out at the combine, posted a 4.47 40-yard dash, a 34.5 inch vertical and a 121 inch broad jump and fellow CB Terrion Arnold ran a superb 6.65 in the three-cone drill.

Ohio State

Although WR Marvin Harrison Jr. opted not to work out, DT Michael Hall did, having skipped the combine. He didn't disappoint, either, as he ran a terrific 4.76 in the 40-yard dash at 290 pounds. He also posted a 33 inch vertical and 111 inch broad jump.

Texas

DT Byron Murphy ran a 4.87 in the 40-yard dash at 297 pounds and reportedly ran an impressive 7.5 in the three-cone drill at his pro day. Fellow DT T'Vondre Sweat didn't work out but weighed in at 367 pounds. TE Ja'Tavion Sanders posted poor strength and explosiveness numbers, though.

Penn State

EDGE Chop Robinson is drawing comparisons to Micah Parsons based on the numbers he compiled this spring. He didn't do the three-cone at his combine workout, but posted a 6.98 at his pro day, which is another elite number to add to his measurables.

USC

The diminutive WR Tahj Washington posted excellent agility numbers and solid explosiveness numbers at his pro day. Fellow WR Brenden Rice, the son of NFL legend Jerry, also added outstanding agility numbers. He is 6'2" and runs a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash.

Notre Dame

Run stuffing S Thomas Harper, a combine snub, ran a 4.48 in the 40-yard dash and posted sparkling numbers in the jumps with a 42 inch vertical and 126 inch broad. RB Audric Estime hurt his stock with a 4.7 in the 40-yard dash at the combine but went sub-4.6 at his pro day as he shaved 13 thousandths off his time.

FSU

314 pound DT Fabien Lovett did 25 bench press reps at his pro day and his arms were measured at 35.5 inches long.

Michigan

247 pound EDGE Jaylen Harrell only did the jumps at the combine but reportedly ran a 4.68 in the 40-yard dash and a 4.39 short shuttle at his pro day.

Northern Iowa

DT Khristian Boyd, a combine snub, didn't perform a full workout but impressed with 38 bench press reps.

UTSA

WR Joshua Cephus was a combine snub too, but he didn't help his cause much as he only ran 4.62 and posted a 32.5 inch vertical at 193 pounds.

UCLA

Combine snub Carson Steele was a big RB in college, but some analysts think he should convert to fullback. He only ran 4.77 in the 40-yard dash, which is part of the reason why. He did post 28 bench press reps, a 37.5 inch vertical and solid agility numbers, though.

Georgia State

Another combine snub, OT Travis Glover, is drawing a ton of interest from NFL teams and he showed up to his pro day 15 pounds lighter than he weighed in at the Senior Bowl. He posted 23 bench press reps with 35.5 inch arms and added a 32 inch vertical.

California

LB Jackson Sirmon didn't run a 40 or lift due to a biceps injury but his explosiveness numbers were solid. Agility numbers were poor though. He was another combine snub.

Florida Atlantic

NT Evan Anderson, who didn't get a combine invite, ran 5.35 at 320 pounds and posted an impressive 30-inch vertical and 31 bench press reps. His broad jump and agility numbers were below average though.

Private Workout

CB Qwan'tez Stiggers didn't play college football but is draft eligible after playing in the CFL last year. He helped his cause by running a 4.47 in the 40-yard dash and posting a 36.5 inch vertical and 128 inch broad jump.
