DraftFix: Pro Day Update #2

Between now and the draft, we'll have a few updates to highlight some of the most interesting numbers from draft prospects at their pro day workouts. Here is part two, featuring some of the notable ones from the pro days so far up to the end of last week:

Arkansas

Running back Mike Washington already made a big impression at the scouting combine and built on that here with an impressive 6.93 three-cone drill and a solid 4.32 short shuttle. Tight end/fullback Rohan Jones ran a 4.72 and posted 25 bench press reps.

Georgia Tech

Running back Jamal Haynes posted an excellent 4.25 in the short shuttle and also ran 4.51. Defensive lineman Jordan van den Berg posted 35 bench press reps, which only one player bettered at the scouting combine.

Arizona

Arizona has a few interesting prospects but they already worked out at the combine. The biggest story here was wideout Jordyn Tyson who missed the combine with a hamstring injury. He skipped the workouts here too, with the same issue.

Syracuse

Center Austin Collins' 34 bench press reps and tight end Dan Villari's 7.01 in the three-cone drill would have led their respective positions at the scouting combine.

Washington

Defensive tackle Anterio Thompson made a serious impression by running 4.75 at 306 pounds and also posted 30 bench press reps. The biggest winner might have been wide receiver Omari Evans who ran an unoffical 4.25 and posted a 41-inch vertical.

Northwestern

Edge Aidan Hubbard was the main standout as he posted a 38.5-inch vertical and a 10-foot broad jump.

Oregon

Cornerback Jadon Canady ran an unofficial 40 in the low 4.4 range that some had clocked as sub-4.4. Linebacker Bryce Boettcher also impressed with a 4.61 in the 40-yard dash and a 38.5-inch vertical.

South Carolina

There were a few standouts at the Gamecocks pro day. Cornerback Brandon Cisse impressed with a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash, defensive tackle Nick Barrett had 31 bench press reps and running back Rahsul Faison had a 4.26 short shuttle.

Virginia

Defensive tackle Jahmeer Carter's 31 bench press reps stole the headlines but wide receiver Cam Ross also impressed with a 4.3 in the 40 and a 36-inch vertical.

Georgia

Tight end Oscar Delp, who missed the combine with a foot injury was a full participant and ran a 4.48 40-yard dash.

Incarnate Word

Wide receiver Jalen Walthall improved his 40 to 4.51 and posted a 39-inch vertical to establish himself as a viable small school sleeper.

Mississippi

Safety Kapena Gushiken posted a tremendous set of numbers, including a 4.35-second 40-yard dash, a 41-inch vertical jump, an 11-foot broad jump.

Penn State

Wide receiver Devonte Ross was one of the standouts at he ran 4.45 and posted a 36-inch vertical and 128-inch broad jump. However, defensive linemen Dani Dennis-Sutton and Zane Durant also showed out. DDS, who had a good combine, posted the highest bench press of the day with 26 reps and Durant ran a 4.75 and posted a 33.5-inch vertical at 293 pounds.
