Final: Jets 3 Browns 23

In a game that was as tough to watch as expected, the Browns easily swept the Jets aside. Cleveland dominated the first half and probably should have had a bigger lead than 16-3, and even that was only after the Jets gifted them a chance to kick a late field goal.

In the third quarter, with Luke Falk replacing the injured Trevor Siemian, the Jets showed some signs of life and were in the red zone with a chance to make it a one score game. Two plays later, they had come up short on a fourth down and then blew a coverage that led to an 89-yard Odell Beckham touchdown and suddenly it was a 20-point game.

Aside from Siemian, who seemed to badly injure an ankle, the Jets also lost Jordan Jenkins and Demaryius Thomas to injury. Trumaine Johnson was also benched for Nate Hairston.

The offensive line really struggled again, with Myles Garrett in particular dominating. Despite some flashes from Falk, Le'Veon Bell and Robby Anderson in the second half as the Browns backed off, the offense looked overmatched for most of the game.

But, hey, at least we made a Ficken field goal.

Tune in tomorrow for the in-depth breakdown throughout the day, starting bright and early.
