How the hell am I supposed to know who this is? - Anthony Wint

The Jets activated linebacker Anthony Wint from the practice squad yesterday. But who is he?

Outlook:

Wint, an undrafted rookie out of FIU, has spent the entire year on the practice squad after having been released in final cuts. He had 12 tackles, two pressures and two missed tackles in preseason action and gave up six catches for 98 yards including two plays of over 20 yards in coverage.

Wint doesn't have great measurables but his instincts, intangibles and production have been very good throughout his college career and the Jets are obviously happy with his work on the scout team.

In preseason, he had some nice run stops, blew up a screen pass and looked good as a blitzer. However, he gave up some costly plays in coverage, including one late in the game against Washington to help set up the winning field goal.
