Jets defensive lineman Bronson Kaufusi has reportedly signed his exclusive rights free agency tender which means that all nine of the players signed to exclusive rights tenders are signed up for next year. But who is he?
Kaufusi, who is 27, was a third round pick in 2016 but missed his rookie season due to injury and didn't play much in his second year.
In his limited action at the pro level so far, mostly in preseason action, Kaufusi has shown some flashes of explosiveness and has good length and instincts.
Having spent most of the season on their practice squad, Kaufusi saw action in a rotational role over the last three games with the Jets and recorded a hit and a batted pass but no tackles in 45 snaps.
He's a bit of a tweener, so it remains to be seen whether he competes for reps on the edge or as an interior lineman in Gregg Williams' defense.
