Injury News: Fant, Brown and Becton to miss the final game of the season

Robert Saleh provided some injury updates after yesterday's game. Tackles George Fant and Mekhi Becton and tight end Daniel Brown have all been ruled out of Sunday's season finale already.

Fant injured his knee yesterday, putting an end to a solid season. His ACL is reportedly intact but he's going for a second opinion, presumably to see if surgery is required. He is under contract for 2022.

Saleh confirmed that, unsurprisingly, Becton will not practice this week so is not an option to reclaim his left tackle spot. Chuma Edoga or Conor McDermott will presumably start the last game.

Brown injured his hip when he tried to hurdle a defender in yesterday's game. Kenny Yeboah could start in his place.

The Jets hope to assess Bryce Huff, Jamison Crowder and Elijah Moore at practice on Wednesday. Huff pulled his hamstring in the game on Sunday while Crowder missed practice with a calf injury and Moore has been on injured reserve with a quad issue in addition to being on Covid-19 reserve.

Finally Ace Carter suffered a concussion on Sunday but the Jets hope to have him available this week.
