Injury News: Fields returns to practice as Dolphins week begins
The first injury report of Dolphins week is out:
After losing two of their three starting linebackers, it looks like the Jets will otherwise be a lot healthier this weekend although Jermaine Johnson was described as "week to week" by Aaron Glenn which is ominous. The only other player to miss practice was the recently acquired Jarvis Brownlee, who was already dealing with the injury when the trade was made so that was expected. He no doubt needs a week or two to get to grips with the playbook anyway before he cracks the rotation.
All the players who were limited were returning to practice after being among the six players who were injured and did not play on Sunday, so they're all trending in the right direction. Johnson is the only one of the six not back yet.
There was also one minor transaction yesterday.
We've signed RB Lawrance Toafili to the practice squad.
