Injury News: Vera-Tucker out for the season with torn Achilles

Contrary to reports the Jets knew before the MRI that Vera-Tucker would need surgery and would therefore miss the rest of the season. They just needed confirmation as to whether it was a full or partial tear. Hopefully, the outcome is that his recovery will at least enable him to be ready for next season or, ideally, training camp.
