Injury/Roster News: Brownlee downgraded to doubtful, Clark and Watts elevated

With Brownlee unavailable the Jets have typically been putting Isaiah Oliver into the line-up. Either he can go in as a slot defender or take over at safety so Malachi Moore can play in the slot. Other alternatives would include Ja'Sir Taylor and Qwan'tez Stiggers. However, there is another...

For Clark, the son of former Steelers safety Ryan Clark, it will be his NFL debut. He played as a nickel back in preseason.
As for Watts, it will be his first appearance of the season after doing a decent rotational job against the run in 2024.
