Injury update: Winters isn't coming

Coach Todd Bowles just revealed the injury report for this weekend's game.

The big news is that right guard Brian Winters has been ruled out. Running backs Matt Forté and Elijah McGuire are questionable, as is center Wesley Johnson.

Dakota Dozier will presumably start in place of Winters, while Brent Qvale and perhaps Ben Ijalana are also options.

Jonotthan Harrison will probably be active so that he can fill in at center if Johnson can't go, although Dozier moving to center and one of the others playing right guard is an alternative to that. If either or both of the running backs can't play, then the Jets have already have some cover on the roster after having activated Akeem Judd last week.

Leonard Williams reportedly passed through concussion protocol and will play but Bowles wouldn't comment on whether Muhammad Wilkerson will play, saying simply that "everything's been normal" and they'll release the inactives at the usual time.
