Injury update: Three defensive backs inch closer to a return

As the Jets conducted their first practice of the week, defensive backs Rontez Miles, Buster Skrine and Marcus Maye are all closer to returning. Maye and Skrine were limited in practice and Miles practiced full.

Now that Miles is practicing, that means he is no longer on the PUP list but the team can activate him at any time over the next three weeks.

However, Trumaine Johnson was still not in uniform. Isaiah Crowell did practice though. Crowell has missed practice early in the week in the past few weeks but still played, so expect the Jets to be cautious with him given that Trenton Cannon is the only healthy back currently on the roster.

Obviously, Quincy Enunwa did not practice. Spencer Long, who limped off late in Sunday's game, also missed practice along with Darron Lee, Robby Anderson, Morris Claiborne and Kelvin Beachum.

New signings Rishard Matthews and Ibraheim Campbell did practice with the team for the first time.
