Injury update: Trumaine Johnson returns to practice

Six of the seven of the Jets who didn't practice due to injury on Wednesday missed practice again, according to the official injury report. However, Trumaine Johnson returned, albeit on a limited basis.

Wide receivers Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa were both in pads for warm-ups so hopefully they are nearing a return. The other players to miss practice for the second day in a row were Frankie Luvu, Steve McLendon, Neal Sterling and Kevin Pierre-Louis.

In more encouraging news, Spencer Long, Marcus Maye and Jordan Jenkins all practiced full having been limited yesterday. Morris Claiborne, who missed yesterday's practice for non-injury reasons was back and practicing full. However, Kelvin Beachum was limited again.

Andre Roberts - who practiced full yesterday - was also limited. He has a back injury. Should he miss Sunday's game, Rishard Matthews could be an option to return punts.
