Injury update: Wilkerson, Shell dealing with shoulder injuries

Todd Bowles provided an update on injuries today, as both Muhammad Wilkerson and Brandon Shell missed practice due to shoulder injuries.

Wilkerson has a grade 1 AC joint sprain which could limit him all year according to Bowles but the veteran said he would play through the pain in Sunday's game. Fellow linemate Leonard Williams is already dealing with a wrist injury which is also said to be one that could limit him all season.

Shell missed practice with a bruised shoulder and Ben Ijalana and Brent Qvale split reps at right tackle in his place. The Jaguars currently lead the NFL in sacks so the tackles will be important in this weekend's game.

As previously noted, Matt Forté missed practice with a turf toe injury, although Bowles wouldn't rule him out for Sunday. Josh Martin also missed practice with the ankle injury suffered in Sunday's game, while Kony Ealy was excused for personal reasons.

Eric Tomlinson and Brian Winters returned to practice although that might have been on a limited basis. Rookie Jordan Leggett remains sidelined though.
