Jets Camp Practice Recap

The Jets held another camp practice today with media on hand, so here's what went down based on reports from those in attendance:

This was another open practice with fans in attendance and no pads;
With Zach Wilson out, Joe Flacco took reps with the ones and Chris Streveler got reps in team drills for the first time;
Although Duane Brown is not signed yet, George Fant has moved back to right tackle already in anticipation of his arrival. Chuma Edoga was working at left tackle with the first unit early but Grant Hermanns got the first unit reps there during the team period;
DJ Reed, Brandin Echols, Vinny Curry and Lamarcus Joyner all sat out but Ty Johnson returned to action;
Jason Pinnock got first team reps in place of Joyner;
Flacco's first pass was complete to Calvin Jackson and then he hit Corey Davis;
Quinnen Williams had a sack (although Flacco kept playing and found Elijah Moore on the move) and then John Franklin-Myers and Jacob Martin combined to collapse the pocket for another sack;
Max Mitchell got some first team reps at right tackle and was beaten on a Jermaine Johnson spin move but Flacco checked down to Breece Hall. Hall later had a nice catch and run from Mike White;
Bryce Hall intercepted Flacco on a play where there was a miscommunication between him and Tyler Conklin;
Streveler completed a pass to Jackson on a leaping catch and then hit Denzel Mims for 20;
Flacco led a drive into field goal range in a situational period, hitting Moore, Conklin and Davis on the drive. Davis beat Ahmad Gardner on a quick slant;
Rachad Wildgoose broke up a White pass intended for Garrett Wilson downfield;
White hit Jeff Smith on a long out for about 15 against Wildgoose as he also drove the Jets into field goal range;
There was a small fight between Hermanns and Carl Lawson that was quickly broken up and then Garrett Wilson was jawing with Nathan Shepherd after catching a pass against Gardner a few minutes later;
Streveler almost connected with Mims downfield but he lost the ball as he went to ground;
Ty Johnson scored on a short pass from Streveler;
In a move-the-ball drill, Deuce Carter stopped Moore short of the end zone to stop the drive. Flacco completed all five of his passes; and
Johnson and Micheal Clemons each had a sack on the second unit's attempt to drive the field.

The Jets are scheduled to practice again tomorrow morning.
