Jets select Francisco Mauigoa with the 162nd overall pick of the 2025 draft

With their sixth pick of the 2025 draft, the Jets selected Miami linebacker Francisco Mauigoa with the 162nd pick.

Mauigoa is basically the fourth selection in a row at a position where the Jets already have starters in place but room for some young depth to fill in and compete for a future role. He's the first selection that didn't play in the SEC though. He's been productive and is a good athlete but does have some shoulder issues in his past.

The Jets now have just one pick left, at 186th overall in the sixth round.
