Jets select Omar Cooper Jr. with the 30th pick in the 2026 draft

With their third pick of the 2026 draft, the Jets selected Omar Cooper Jr., a wide receiver from Indiana.

More in-depth analysis on this pick to follow...

The Jets used a fifth rounder to trade from 33 back into the first round. They now have just one pick (44) scheduled for tomorrow, but also have four day three picks.

Cooper was a star on the national champion Hoosiers last year, and made perhaps the biggest catch of the year in the clutch against Penn State. He had 13 touchdowns last year and ended up 63 yards short of a thousand-yard season.

As things stand, the next Jets' next pick is the first pick of tomorrow, but it's not impossible they could try to trade back into the first round. We'll update you here if they do, otherwise we'll be back tomorrow...
