Jets select Cade Klubnik with the 110th pick

With their sixth pick of the 2026 draft, the Jets used packaged their two fourth rounders to move up 18 spots and selected Cade Klubnik, a quarterback from Clemson.

Klubnik is one of a handful of quarterbacks who were viewed as potential first round picks if they had a strong 2025 season only to then have a poor one.

The Jets clearly like him to have made the move up. He has plenty of experience and offers a run threat, but his numbers, arm talent and size are mediocre. He could be a pick geared more towards developing a long-term backup than someone they expect to compete for a starting role down the road.

As things stand, the next Jets' next pick is now a sixth rounder (199) that they acquired in this deal...
