Keep or Dump: John Simpson

In between now and the start of the new league year, we're going to look at each of the Jets' pending free agents to decide whether or not the Jets should bring them back. We continue today with guard John Simpson.

Simpson wasn’t quite as good as he was in 2024 and his penalty count was high but he has been durable, provides the Jets with good continuity and has stated a desire to return.

The Jets might prefer Alijah Vera-Tucker to Simpson in terms of his upside but bringing back Vera-Tucker is complicated by his injury issues, so should they lock up Simpson regardless?
