In between now and the start of the new league year, we've been looking at each of the Jets' pending free agents to decide whether or not the Jets should bring them back. We are now looking at a trio of players who would have been pending free agents continuing today with cornerback Kyron Brown.
Brown would have been out of contract but he remains under contract because he spent the year on PUP reserve, so his contract has tolled.
You might be forgiven for having forgotten who Brown is or that he was still in the organization. As a promising undrafted rookie in 2019, he'd just earned his first career start only to suffer a season-ending injury. He then spent 2020 on the PUP list.
There doesn't seem to be anything to lose by bringing Brown back, but perhaps this regime - with no connection to the player - will move on. What do you think? Please respond to the following poll and expand on your vote in the comments.
