Postgame: Big but not-so-easy win for the Saints

Surprisingly, the Jets made today's game competitive into the fourth quarter but ultimately lost 31-19 to New Orleans.

Bryce Petty's audition for a future starting role didn't go too well, although he padded his stats down the stretch to end up with 179 yards and a touchdown. He completed less than half of his passes, though, and had two interceptions.

Defensively, the Jets gave up a ton of yards early on, but settled down somewhat and forced a couple of second half turnovers to make things interesting. The run defense held up pretty well until they gave up a long, clinching touchdown right after almost having recovered an onside kick down five. The pass rush was mostly quiet though.

The Jets dropped to 5-9 on the year, with just two games to go.
