Postgame: Jets 8 Falcons 13

The Falcons employed the blueprint to perfection on Sunday, as they played a conservative game and allowed the Jets outgain them while waiting to exploit mistakes the Jets made. Those self-inflicted wounds led to the Jets losing the turnover battle 3-0 and the penalty count 11-6 (although maybe the latter wasn't totally the Jets' fault).

The Jets won't be mathematically be eliminated yet, but the season is effectively over. When it is for real, that might actually be a relief.

Oh well, at least we know now why they didn't turn to Trevor Siemian sooner.

We'll be back tomorrow with more in-depth analysis as usual...
