Postgame: Jets blow 14-point fourth quarter lead, lose to Miami

The Jets played well for much of this game, but for the second time this month blew a two-score fourth quarter lead and this time it cost them, as Josh McCown's late interception set up a game-winning field goal.

The Jets had not blown a 14-point fourth quarter lead since 1995. In fact, they hadn't even blown an 8-point fourth quarter lead since 1999. Even worse, they did it against a back-up quarterback, as Matt Moore led the Dolphins back following an injury to Jay Cutler.

The Jets dropped to 3-4 on the season and you could conceivably see the wheels start to fall off from this position, despite the earlier good play.
