Roster News: Davis and Neasman activated, Adams waived

The Jets have made their weekly roster moves:

We’ve activated DB Ashtyn Davis and DB Sharrod Neasman.

Additionally we’ve elevated OL Isaiah Williams to the active roster and waived RB Josh Adams.

Robert Saleh had already indicated these moves would be made and that Davis will likely rotate in with Jarrod Wilson and Adrian Colbert this weekend.

The Jets had an open roster spot all week following BJ Goodson's abrupt retirement ahead of last week's game.

Adams will probably be signed back to the practice squad in due course and him moving back down is probably a good sign that La'Mical Perine is healthy again.

The Jets will need to name six inactive players on Sunday, of which none can be offensive linemen.
