Roster News: Kaufusi promoted to active roster; Langi signed to practice squad
Following the news earlier today that Josh Martin is going to be added to injured reserve, the Jets have made a corresponding move:
#Jets have promoted DE Bronson Kaufasi from the practice squad. Former BYU star was signed last month after being waived by the Ravens.

The 6'6" and 285 pounds Kaufusi was a third round pick two years ago but hasn't done much at the NFL level. However, he was productive in preseason with 12 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery.
UPDATE: The Jets announced these moves and also that they have signed former Patriots linebacker Harvey Langi to the practice squad. Langi was the league's highest paid undrafted free agent last year and made the Patriots roster but he only played in one game. In October, he was seriously injured in a car accident.
Langi, who is 26 and weighs 250 pounds, had 137 tackles, 11.5 sacks and two interceptions in three seasons with BYU. He had 12 tackles in four preseason games last year.
