Roster News: Harvey Langi to injured reserve

The Jets open the week with the following roster move:

We've activated DL Foloruso Fatukasi from Reserve/COVID and placed LB Harvey Langi on IR.

Langi had been starting at inside linebacker so Bryce Hager could now move into his role. Alternatively, they could bring Noah Dawkins or Brady Sheldon up from the practice squad or employ someone like Frankie Luvu in more of an off-ball role. Langi is out of contract at the end of the season but he'll be a restricted free agent.

Fatukasi's return will bolster a defensive line that could be without Quinnen Williams because he'll need to pass through concussion protocol this week.
