Roster News: Herndon and Winters to IR; Bello and Brown signed to active roster

The Jets have made a couple of roster moves today:

We have signed LB B.J. Bello and CB Kyron Brown to the active roster.

RG Brian Winters and TE Chris Herndon have been placed on IR.

As suspected, Winters and Herndon are lost for the season. Coming in to replace them are more linebacker depth and another young corner.

Bello played on special teams in the previous game against Miami but was released before the Giants game. However, extra cover is required at linebacker with Brandon Copeland having suffered a strained hip.

The undrafted rookie Brown had an impressive training camp and saw plenty of time with the first unit, but then got injured in preseason and has been on the practice squad since final cuts.
