Roster News: Jets activate De'Angelo Henderson, release Juston Burris

With only two healthy backs, the Jets have predictably moved De'Angelo Henderson from the practice squad to the active roster, according to a report from the team's official site.

The 25-year old Henderson is 5'7" and a shifty runner who was a fan favorite with the Broncos. He hasn't played much in the regular season but ran for 231 yards on 54 carries in preseason over the last two years.

The Jets signed Henderson to the practice squad after he was released by the Broncos in final cuts.

Burris, a 2016 draft pick, had been used solely on special teams in his four games this season. He made two starts in his first two years, racking up 37 tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble. He would be eligible to be added to the practice squad.
