Roster News: Jets add Curry, Yeboah and Remmers to active roster

The Jets announced some moves ahead of Sunday's game:

The 34-year old Curry hasn't played in an NFL game since the end of the 2020 season, having signed with the Jets last year but missed the entire season due to a medical issue. He's been on injured reserve since training camp, so hasn't played in a preseason game in that time either. With Jermaine Johnson out, he can take his place in the rotation but the long-term plan is unclear.

The Remmers move is temporary for now but the Jets can release Cedric Ogbuehi after this week, so he could potentially take his spot after that. With Duane Brown listed as questionable, hopefully this isn't a sign he might not play. Instead, Remmers could perhaps be seen as a better third tackle option than Conor McDermott...or Remmers could be seen as the best option at right tackle and Alijah Vera-Tucker can go back to guard.

Cager, who started the opener, hasn't featured since and Jeremy Ruckert hasn't made much of an impact so the team is obviously going to give Yeboah a shot. Cager could be added back to the practice squad next week, perhaps.
