Roster News: Jets add two more to active roster, sign two to practice squad

The Jets have confirmed the two signings we reported earlier, as well as two more additions to the active roster, with four players headed to injured reserve as expected.

Wilson was signed to the practice squad after final cuts and has plenty of starting experience with the Jaguars over the past few seasons.

Williams was an addition during camp who played in the last preseason game at tackle. The 28-year old journeyman has yet to make his NFL debut.

The Jets also signed two to their practice squad:

Dawkins, who played a few games on special teams with the Jets last season, looked like he was going to make the final roster in preseason but was released in final cuts.

The 26-year old Nkansah has played just one offensive snap in his NFL career so far. He was undrafted out of Toledo in 2018.

The Jets still have an open roster spot, which will presumably be used to activate Jamison Crowder from the Covid-19 reserve.
