Roster News: Jets add two to practice squad as Moncrief is injured

The Jets made a few moves on their practice squad for Sunday. Don't forget, that the new rules mean that such players could be activated for the game:

The Jets only have three healthy inside linebackers right now, so adding a veteran in Ogletree as cover is probably wise. The former first round pick has started 93 games in his seven year career, including 13 with the Giants in 2019. Gregg Williams coached him for three seasons when he was with the Rams.

The Moncrief injury is a blow because he was a candidate to be elevated this weekend. The 6'5" 25-year old Scott, a former fourth round pick, perhaps brings more upside. He was on injured reserve as a rookie in 2018 and caught just one pass last season.

The Jets had one spot free on their practice squad so adding two and putting Moncrief on the reserve list takes them to the maximum of 16 players.
