Roster News: Jets claim TE Travis off waivers

The Jets have made another roster move ahead of tomorrow's game (although it won't affect the gameday roster):

We’ve claimed TE Ross Travis and placed OL Alex Lewis on IR.



Travis is not on the trip and is out for #NYJvsBUF.

The 26-year old didn't play college football but has been a developmental project since entering the league in 2015. Travis has caught 14 passes in his career so far. He missed last season with a torn ACL and has caught four passes in three games with the Colts this season. Travis has also spent time with the Chiefs.
