Roster News: Jets confirm five UDFA signings and corresponding cuts

The Jets have announced these roster moves as rookie minicamp began today:

We've signed five undrafted free agents and waived S Zane Lewis, OL Isaiah Williams and RB Austin Walter.

There had been nine reported signings but we assume the other four must be here on a tryout basis, or changed their mind and went elsewhere. We could equally see one or more of them signed before camp is over, or perhaps any of the other players who are trying out.

Lewis was injured in camp last year. Williams and Walter have links to Saleh's time with the 49ers so are the kinds of players who could be back at some point if the Jets need bodies at these positions.
