Roster News: Jets cut and replace two recent signings
The Jets are obviously operating on a last in first out philosophy:
We've signed QB Adrian Martinez and CB Kendall Sheffield.

We've released CB Nehemiah Shelton and QB Ben Bryant.
Martinez, who went undrafted last season, was the MVP of the UFL championship game earlier this year.
Sheffield is a 28-year old former fourth round pick who has played for Jeff Ulbrich in the past. He has started 20 games in his career but none since 2020. He can play both inside and outside and has had some special teams production in his career with three tackles last year.
Shelton, who was in his second stint with the team, was released despite intercepting a pass this week. Bryant was only with the team for a couple of days.
