Roster News: Jets add Warren to 53, elevate James and Hayes for Sunday's game

The Jets have made their roster moves ahead of the Eagles game:

Roster moves:

- Placed CB Justin Hardee on IR
- OL Carter Warren added to active roster
- DB Craig James and DB Ke'Montae Hayes have been elevated for tomorrow's game

James was obviously needed after the injuries to DJ Reed, Brandin Echols and Justin Hardee. He'll likely be the fourth cornerback and also possibly a primary gunner along with Irv Charles.

The fact they've also elevated Hayes will have some nervous that the status of Sauce Gardner, who missed practice due to illness on Friday, is also in doubt.

The Jets only have seven offensive linemen on their roster at the moment so they needed to add one to be active as cover tomorrow. Warren could probably remain in that 8th lineman role for the rest of the year with other players being added if there are any more injuries.
