Roster News: Jets elevate McCrary-Ball and Bawden

The Jets made their roster moves ahead of Sunday:

We figured the Jets would be elevating a defensive tackle because they only have three on the roster, even after signing Jalyn Holmes to the 53 during the week. However, it seems like they're going to chance it and go with a three-man rotation given that the Commanders lead the NFL in pass attempts so the Jets can play subpackages. In the event of an injury, Micheal Clemons might have to take some reps on the interior.

Bawden returns to the line-up just days after everyone overreacted to him being cut. You can expect him to be elevated for the last three games too, but obviously other injuries could affect that.

The McCrary-Ball elevation is a head-scratcher. It's his third and final elevation of the season and the Jets have a full compliment of linebackers. McCrary-Ball was elevated and then made inactive last week.
