Roster News: Jets make no waiver claims, practice squad taking shape

The Jets didn't make any waiver claims this year, although two of their waived players were picked up with undrafted rookie linebacker Claud Cherelus going to the Panthers and offensive lineman Trystan Colon going to the Cardinals.

The practice squad will mostly be made up of players the Jets cut who made it through waivers, as usual, but they did reportedly add at least two players from other teams:

Valladay went undrafted in the 2023 draft, which was a surprise to some analysts, but he only averaged 2.4 yards per carry in preseason. He did catch a 22-yard pass though. Jones is another undrafted rookie with 4.5 speed.

Other players rumored to be joining the squad include:
Zack Kuntz
Adam Pankey
Craig James
Trey Dean
Sam Equavoen
Tim Boyle
Caleb Johnson

We'll update this post if any other names are reported and will share details when the full squad is announced.
