Roster News: Jets make roster moves, including release of UDFA Davis

The Jets have started to make some roster moves as camp gets underway:

None of these are particularly significant at this stage as Flacco, Griffin, Williamson and Brown can all be activated once healthy and Davis was a major long-shot.

In case you missed it, the Jets have also placed three players on the temporary inactive list for Covid-19; Rookie defensive backs Bryce Hall and Shyheim Carter, plus linebacker Ahmad Gooden. This means they either tested positive or had a potential exposure to the virus. Each can be re-activated once confirmed healthy.

Finally, running back Jalin Moore, who had been on the non-football injury list since being picked up as an undrafted free agent last year, announced his retirement and reserve offensive lineman Leo Koloamatangi opted out of the season.

The Jets have two open spots on their 88-man roster, but need to get down to 80 by August 16th anyway, so may not seek to fill them.
