Roster News: Jets re-add Spencer to practice squad, release Hermanns

The Jets made a minor move to kick off Packers week:

The #Jets have signed WR/KR Diontae Spencer to the practice squad and released OL Grant Hermanns from the practice squad.

Spencer has been onto and off of the practice squad a few times so far this season. He's obviously there to provide cover in the return game. Hermanns had been with the Jets since being an undrafted rookie last season and made his NFL debut a few weeks ago but has now used up his three elevations for the year so would have had to go onto the active roster to play again. He had only played on special teams.
