Roster News: Jets release four, place Curry on Reserve/NFI

The Jets have made their roster moves to get down to 80 by today's 4pm deadline:

We've released WR Manasseh Bailey, WR Josh Malone, LB Edmond Robinson and OL Tristen Hoge.

Additionally, we've placed DL Vinny Curry on Reserve/NFI.

The most significant thing here is that making this move for Curry means that he is out for the season. Robert Saleh had previously said he was expected back in week two. This perhaps factors further into their rumored search for a pass rusher in the trade market.

Curry's contract should toll which will mean the Jets retain him under the same contract for 2022.
