Roster News: Jets release T Ogbuehi

The Jets have been desperately accumulating as much tackle depth as possible during the offseason but perhaps now they feel they have enough:

The team did sign Billy Turner and drafted Carter Warren since Ogbuehi was re-signed just before the draft but it's still surprising that he won't make it to camp given how he performed quite well as an emergency backup last year. Then again, perhaps he saw the amount of options the team has and asked for his release.

He could even be back one day. If he doesn't catch on anywhere else and the Jets have another injury crisis, who knows?
