Roster News: Jets release three and place one on IR

The Jets made the requisite moves to get down to 85 players by today's 4pm ET deadline:

We've released S Bennett Jackson, DL Michael Dwumfour and RB Austin Walter.

Additionally, we've placed OL Cam Clark on IR.

None of these are major surprises. Clark going onto injured reserve now means that he is out for the season. Dwumfour injured his calf muscle on Saturday so he may revert to injured reserve.

We'll now see whether the Jets put in any claims for players released by other teams.
