Roster News: Jets sign CB Barcoo, release S Moffatt

The Jets have made another move in the secondary:

We've signed DB Luq Barcoo and released DB Jovante Moffatt.

Barcoo, who turned 24 today, has decent size at 6'1" and was undrafted out of SDSU in 2020. He has played in three NFL games, starting one, with 10 tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass defensed. He struggled badly overall though. He showed good playmaking abilities in 2019, as led the nation with nine interceptions.

Moffatt was signed to a futures deal at the end of last season but hasn't ever played for the Jets.

The Jets had also worked out another cornerback:

The Jets worked out CB Iman Marshall. He was a 2019 4th round pick of the Ravens, but dealt with significant injuries during his three seasons in Baltimore.
